Mark E. Stancik, 56, of Holmdel, passed away at home on Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013.
Mark was a longtime Hi-Mar member and an integral part of our charitable activities. He was co-chair of youth trips and was an active member and participant in all our club activities. He was a kind, warm and giving person and will be missed by his Hi-Mar family.
Born in East Orange, Mark lived in Holmdel. He was a longtime parishioner of St. Catharines R.C. Church, Holmdel. He was a graduate of Holmdel High School, earned his Bachelors Degree at Kean College, and was a musician and an avid fisherman. He had a career in customer relations.Predeceased by his parents, and his sister, Mary Anne, Mark is survived by his sister, Lisa Stancik of Olney, MD; and a niece and nephew, Karolina and Eric Stancik also of Olney, MD.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2 at the Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 South Holmdel Road, Holmdel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:15 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3, 2014 at St. Catharines R.C. Church, 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel. Interment will then follow at Holmdel Cemetery.
