The Hi-Mar Striper Club will present a distinguished panel of local Striped Bass fishing pros who will discuss the tactics and techniques that will teach you how to catch Striped Bass from boats, the surf, party boats and kayaks.

They will discuss in detail the tackle, equipment and electronics that you can use to improve your catch ratio and overall fishing experience.   You may have read their articles and heard them speak before, but this is your opportunity to learn from these pros to become better at your favorite pastime.

Topics will include clamming, chunking, fly, trolling spoons and stretches, surf fishing, kayak fishing and electronics.

When & Where – This year’s Hi-Mar Striper Night will be held on Thursday March 28th, 2013 (03/28/2013) from 7 PM to 10 PM at the Middletown VFW Post 2179 in Port Monmouth, New Jersey.

Cost – The Cost is $15 per person.

Speakers – A tremendous cross section of the areas best captains, authors and anglers to help you improve your bass catching ability. Come join us to learn proven techniques and tactics as well as hear new strategies to catch your next personal best Striped Bass.

Customer parking and flow – It is important we supply parking and easy access to the show. The VFW lot is large and we need to park vendor and Hi-Mar member vehicles in the rear. This allows people attending easy access to the entry of the VFW.

Directions to Hi-Mar Striper Night –  The Middletown VFW Post 2179 is located in Port Monmouth at 1 Veterans Lane directly off State Hwy 36 eastbound. (Behind Dunkin Donuts)

From the Garden State Parkway (northbound & southbound) / Hwy 36 East: Take GSP exit 117, get on State hwy 36 east for about 5.5 miles. At Wilson Ave you will see a Gulf Station, then a Food Town Shopping Center, and a Dunkin Donuts, Veterans Lane is immediately behind the Dunkin Donuts. TURN RIGHT.

From Hwy 36 West / Highlands Bridge: You will see the Dunkin Donuts and Food Town shopping Center on the left just after Church Street. Continue to the Main Street jughandle (past Wilson Avenue) and come back east on Hwy 36. You can also park in the commuter lot on the westbound side, cross the Highway and walk to the VFW.
