9AM    Spring Striped bass fishing

Captain Billy runs a 34' Yellow fin fishing Machine. If you always wondered what it is like to get to the bass at 60 MPH Captain Billy can tell you. His yellow fin has the speed and range to get him to the huge early season Bass. In the spring, he is live bait fishing for striped bass with bunker. A contender every year for Hi-Mar largest Bass, and tournament place winner, Captain Billy will be demonstrating his proven methods of catching those spring time trophy Bass.

Allen Riley's writing career includes over 125 surf articles in The Fisherman during his 15 years. He began contributing surf features to The New Jersey Angler Magazine in 2003 and was named a Field Editor in 2004. His morning surf report is posted online at njangler.com ("Staff Fishing Reports") most weekdays during the fishing season. You can also find Riley's surf fishing features in the "Hook, Line & Sinker" weekly supplement to The Asbury Park Press and Home News Tribune. In addition to providing input about the New Jersey surf to several major tackle manufacturers, Riley is also on the Pro Team of Gibbs/Nortac, Canada's largest fishing lure manufacturer.

Jersey Devil Charters from Fair Haven on the Navesink River has grown quickly, and Captain Brian is on the pro staff of Contender boats, Optima Batteries, GAMMA line, Owner hooks, Shimano tackle, Gamma line, Furuno electronics and other major companies. Captain Brian is an accomplished inshore tuna Captain who had an outstanding inshore season. Captain Alan operates the NetKeeper, a 29ft Wellcraft Coastal Tournament Edition boat from the Highlands. His Mixed Bag approach has kept his clients happy by turning those "slow" trips into successful trips with quality catches of a variety of fall species including Striped Bass, Bluefish and Blackfish.
